    Honesty is a crucial leadership characteristic. A good leader needs to instill trust. As you build your leadership skills, try working on honesty and trustworthiness. You’ll be respected more if you are seen as trustworthy.

    Don’t do anything shady or devious. For a good leader to build trust, come through with promises. If you claim to provide excellent service, everyone on your team has to be involved and understand the process.
